Summer Reading

Grade 7

Grade 6

***Students have been assigned a book for the Book Circle.  Please be sure you know which book you were assigned.***

My suggestions for successfully completely your summer reading:

1. Read the book for your book report and write the report in June.  You will not need this book again.

2. Read and take notes on the book for your test in July.  Hold on to this book.  Reread the book or review your notes the week of September 1st.

3. Read and take notes on the book for the book circle in August.  Hold on to this book, as you will want to refer to it during the book circle.  Reread the book or review your notes the week of September 15th.

DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE WEEK BEFORE SCHOOL STARTS TO READ YOUR BOOKS!  You won't have enough time, and the quality of your work will not be as good because you will be rushing.
