More Help and an
Incredible Offer you Can't Afford to Miss
( A new program and message offered by the media center
and Director, Julia Rogers,
jrogers@archbalt.org
There is a
new program created to insure that all of our schools
that are eligible for Erate funding are receiving it and
it is being run through the Media Resource Center. We
have identified schools that did not have paperwork or a
funding commitment from Erate for the 2008-09 school
year. We are offering this service as part of your
subscription to our center in order to achieve full
participation within the Archdiocese.
The Erate
program is designed to help schools offset the costs
of phone and internet services, as well as the
possibility for funding for select
computer/networking equipment, with discounts
ranging between 20-90% off of the cost for the
school year. The paperwork can become cumbersome so
my office will take on the task of completing the
paperwork in a timely manner for each identified
school so as to ease your workload. I will
complete each phase of the paperwork and all I will
need from each school is a contact person that I can
list on the paperwork in case there are any
questions that relate to the school (i.e.
verification of the number of students enrolled).
